Mathematics

Maths is typically perceived to be a challenging subject, which at times can feel daunting for students. Our personalised 1:1 support builds confidence allows the student to experience success in a safe and comfortable setting.

Our tutors are friendly and welcoming, making each session individual to the needs of the student. Our sessions allow students to ask questions and break down difficult Maths problems with highly experienced tutors, who know just the right questions to ask to draw out misconceptions.

What’s special about Chichester Tuition Hub’s maths sessions?

A strong understanding of Maths at Primary is fundamental. At KS2, there should be a real focus on number work. We feel this should be done as visually as possible. Our sessions have lots of opportunities for students to ‘have a go’, and experience success.

At Secondary, our sessions are designed to create a strong understanding of the breadth of content covered across KS3 and KS4. All of our tutors are incredibly experienced Maths teachers, both in the classroom and beyond. We are proud to create sessions that inspire students to think outside the box. We don’t just build confidence, we challenge and nurture students to develop a love of Mathematics. From Year 9, we will start to introduce GCSE questions to increase familiarity as they move into Year 11.

The jump from GCSE Maths to A-level Maths can feel like a real challenge for many students. Our experienced tutors are on hand to help. A-Level Maths requires a high level of independent question practice. Our tutors know just the questions to ask, supporting students, improving confidence and challenging them beyond the curriculum.

Maths is more than just Pythagoras! It teaches us to approach challenges logically and explore possible solutions
